Andy has over 40 years of experience in Aerospace Manufacturing, beginning his career as a Tool & Die Apprentice. He has demonstrated he is a strong strategic and tactical leader. He has extensive, technical interaction with customers, engineers, suppliers, and engineering groups that result in rapid product development, improvement, and conforming hardware first time. He has demonstrated the ability to manage product life cycle from product structure connection from sales, engineering, to planning and procurement, and shop floor execution. He also has a strong P&L base of knowledge, driving cost initiatives, as well as at the front end of the business ensuring costs are understood when developing pricing strategies. These attributes combined with his strengths in Quality of delivered product and keen sense of Safety within the facility will be a strong addition. Andy joins us from Howmet where he was Operations Director and prior to that he was at RBC Transport Dynamics where he was General Manager of 5 Divisions.
