Ed Alvarez is the General Manager of Quality Forming Inc., located in Torrance, CA. Ed joined Verus Aerospace in 2026 and has over 30 years of manufacturing and operations leadership experience with a proven track record of improving quality, delivery, operational performance, and profitability through Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
Prior to joining Verus Aerospace, Ed served as General Manager for DCX-CHOL Enterprises, where he led aerospace cable assembly operations supporting military and aerospace customers while driving significant improvements in throughput, on-time delivery, quality, and revenue growth. Prior to DCX-CHOL, Ed held General Manager and Plant Manager leadership roles with Cicoil Corporation, Cavotec USA, Industrial Dynamics/FILTEC, Zodiac Aerospace, and Faber/Omni Precision Components. Throughout his career, he has successfully led aerospace manufacturing operations, implemented Lean manufacturing initiatives, developed high-performing leadership teams, and improved operational performance across machining, fabrication, assembly, and supply chain organizations.
